- My husband and I started trying to conceive our first child in July 2005. Too many months to count, 5 birthdays, 5 IUI's, 2 IVFs, 2 IVFs converted to IUI, and less one ovary later, we stopped searching for one good egg. We decided parenting was more important to us than pregnancy. We adopted our son from foster care in 2010.

Yurghh. I really hate it too.
Grrr... I persoanlly believe that people who get pregnant and successfully complete that pregnancy are not infertile. They may be subfertile, but definitely not infertile. Isn't it so annoying when people who've supposedly "been there" seem to forget everything? Sometimes, FB is the devil ;)
I believe I'd have to post a retort to that. I don't think I'd be able to resist. So sorry. That is infuriating.
