Good Fortune

DH and I had Chinese for dinner tonight.  These were our fortunes:

His. . .Organize your life around your dreams-and watch them come true.

Mine. . .The path is getting easier from here on out. Luck is helping.

Not bad, huh? If all this works out, I'm going to frame these suckers. Seriously.

If it doesn't, I might burn them.  OK, probably not, but it will cross my mind.

Karen, thanks so mych for stopping by my blog! I have read your most recent post and I think you and your husband are really amazing people. I feel sorry for this small boy, in all honesty his foster mother seems to be after the money (is that the reason she took him in the first place?) how would she not want the best for this child if she cannot keep him I don't know. I'll be back checking on your progress, be strong, lots of love, Fran

What about the game of adding "in bed" to the end of the fortunes?

Naah, nevermind. That's not where babies come from. Dreams come true in labs and offices, as far as I can tell.

Best wishes with the adoption!

I hope your fortunes come true, too!

We got one fortune recently that tied right in with us adopting, too -- I still have it. I think it's going in the baby book!

I hope your Chinese fortunes come true. I've read a bit of your story, and I am so hopeful that this works out for all involved.

I like the quotation that you have kept on your blog's sidebar.

Oh, lovely quotes those. Yesterday, one of the words I got for Word Verification was bless...let's see if it is a sign!

Good Luck at adoption.

Ah, fortunes from cookies that are entirely too fitting. As I write this, I have one taped to the wall in my office. :)

Best of luck to you with this little boy!

I hope your fortunes are framed on the wall in the near future. Good luck making a decision on the adoption.
